½ or 1-day workshop looking into specific protected characteristics, or strands, of diversity (such as age, disability, ethnicity & race, sex, religion & belief, sexual orientation, flexible working). Click here for more on specific strands.
- Pitched either at introductory or intermediate level
- Focuses upon one or two protected characteristics in more depth, rather than taking a sweep of all of them in one breath
- Enables participants to get a more concrete sense of the issues arising for staff, customers and populations at large in relation to those specific characteristics
- Focuses upon best practice examples in those areas, and how these can apply to participants’ own work programmes.
