Brexit and Inclusive Leadership – A 10-point manifesto

With a rise in race related incidents after the Brexit vote the situation demands bold, inspired and inclusive leadership. Our 10 point ‘manifesto’ for inclusive leaders responding to this situation is as follows:

1. Strategise: hold a meeting of your leadership team at the earliest opportunity to agree a positive strategy for managing this issue i.e. safeguarding the interests of your EU staff and promoting good relationships between EU nationals and non-EU nationals in your workforce . Agree messages and methods of communication throughout the organisation.
