This is an ILM approved course. Completion of its elements entitles the learner, on payment of the administrative fee, to ILM certification and 1 year’s membership, with access to the walled garden of management and leadership L&D resources.
This programme is aimed at those holding a supervisory, coaching, mentoring or equality, diversity and inclusion leadership role within an organisation or service. In line with the core values and ethos of the Equality Academy, the programme proactively encourages participation from a diversity of backgrounds and seniority levels. This programme is also suitable for professionals who are working as leadership and coaching consultants.
This is an advanced two + half day course for up to 12 leaders with a strategic remit for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) within organisational settings. It can be offered as an open residential Masterclass or as an in-house intensive, where it is best positioned as a leadership or management team development training.
Learning methods balance theoretical, experiential, reflective and experimental elements. Activities involve spatial, discursive, psychometric, reading and work-based implementation elements. The course thereby seeks to engage a range of preferred learning styles and learners, and to ensure all participants complete one or more experiential learning cycles, and so embed their learning in practice.
