Train the Trainer Programme
Champion ED&I: Facilitate the development of Diversity awareness in your organisation
The Equality Academy Train the Trainer Programme provides a framework of “deep equality” upon which to build inclusive training practice. It will develop participants’ skills of observation, reflection and articulation and engage participants at an intellectual, emotional, experiential and transpersonal level.
The programme is structured to provide:
- Certified training at different levels, to suit the needs of your in-house trainers
- Are delivered with a low facilitator:participant ratio, in order to ensure adequate personal support in the classroom
- The programmes are each split (eg: 3+2 days), with sufficient time for practical assignments to be completed, delivered and appraised
- The opportunity throughout the programme to practice and enhance skills in a safe and constructive learning environment

The Equality Academy Train the Trainer Programmes include:
- Free trainer guides are provided, at each level, as well as access to Equality Academy resources, subject to copyright conditions
- A range of models and concepts to support the work in the training room
- Participants are provided with resources, template plans and ideas to design and deliver their own training and to continue their learning beyond the training room.
- Training and support doesn’t stop there: Post-course, we offer further observation and trainer supervision (1-2-1 or group) to support the roll-out of in-house programmes
Trained Trainers will benefit from:
An increase in confidence to be able to address group dynamics and issues of diversity within the training room. Participants are given space to reflect upon their own, and others’ practice as trainers; provide feedback on self and others, and become more of what they aspire to be.
